After their big success with the Topo Mat, which quickly became my personal favorite, I decided to give their second most popular item a try, the Ergodriven OM Vertical Ergonomic Mouse.
Having tested a few vertical mice in the past, like the one from Anker and the Inphic X9, I already had some experience with what to look for in terms of comfort, usability, and overall design. Just like I did with the mat, I grabbed my card, hit the button, and placed the order.
So without further ado, let’s see if Ergodriven manages to deliver the same level of innovation and everyday value with their ergonomic mouse as they did with the Topo.
- Extremely comfortable for long work sessions
- Smooth, responsive sensor
- Easy setup, mostly plug and play
- Lightweight but sturdy design
- Unique LED screen for DPI, battery, and button functions without needing software
- Additional buttons can be accidentally pressed until you adjust
- May not be ideal for small hands

Delivery and Unboxing
As with most packaging these days, the OM Mouse arrived in good condition with no visible damage to the box.

Shipping was fairly quick, and the product inside was well protected. Compared to the Topo Mat, though, this time the packaging felt much more eye-catching.
The color scheme was well matched, the design was flashy in a good way, and I can’t deny that the marketing team did a great job here.

The presentation made me want to open the box right away, and that excitement alone already set the tone for the experience.

Feel in Hand and Comfort
The first thing I noticed when I picked up the OM Mouse was how natural it felt in my hand—it actually reminded me of the Logitech MX series in terms of ergonomics and how well it contours to the palm.

Unlike the Anker vertical mouse, where the grip always felt a bit too wide and forced my fingers into an unnatural stretch, the OM feels more refined and balanced.
My hand rests in a comfortable, neutral position without any extra effort, and the angled design encourages a relaxed wrist posture from the start.
During longer work sessions, I didn’t feel the constant need to adjust or shift my grip like I often did with the Anker or the Inphic.

The surface finish also stood out: it has that smooth matte texture that feels premium but still provides enough grip, even after hours of use.
While vertical mice usually come with a learning curve, with this one the transition was much easier, and comfort quickly became second nature.
Where I did struggle at first was with the additional buttons placed just under the left and right clicks.

I was aware they were there, but it took some time to get used to them and avoid pressing them by accident.
Once I adjusted, they turned out to be quite handy, but in the beginning they disrupted the otherwise smooth experience.

Design and Build Quality
I will start with what I found really cool. It is the small LED screen, where you can assign functions to the buttons, check DPI, battery level, and connection status. I have personally never seen something like this before, and I really liked it.

The fact that you don’t need any software and have everything displayed directly on the mouse itself is a game changer for convenience and efficiency.
Beyond the screen, the OM Mouse feels solid and well-constructed. The matte finish looks sleek and prevents fingerprints or smudges, keeping it clean even after hours of use.
The contours and ergonomic shape follow the natural curve of the hand, allowing fingers to rest comfortably over the buttons.

Performance and Usability
As you may guess, this is an ergonomic mouse, so obviously I won’t be able to review it the way I would a regular gaming mouse by playing 20 hours a day.
Instead, I focused more on productivity. In that area, the OM Mouse performs very well. The sensor felt smooth and responsive right out of the box with no noticeable lag or skipping.

Setup was straightforward, it is mostly plug and play, and customizing the additional buttons was quick and intuitive. I had no trouble mapping them to shortcuts that fit my workflow.
Once I got used to the button placement, it became one of the highlights of the mouse. The extra buttons under the main clicks proved useful for productivity, although there was a short adjustment period.
The scroll wheel also stood out, it felt precise, not too stiff, and offered just the right resistance for scrolling through long documents or web pages.

Price and Value
For the price, I believe the OM Mouse is unbeatable. Considering the build quality, comfort, and unique features like the LED screen and easy customization, it offers far more value than most vertical mice on the market.

You’re not just paying for an ergonomic shape; you’re getting thoughtful design, durable materials, and productivity-focused functionality all in one package.
Compared to other options I’ve tried, like the Anker or Inphic models, the OM feels more premium and polished without commanding a significantly higher price.
If you spend a lot of time at your desk, especially on productivity tasks, this mouse pays for itself in comfort and efficiency almost immediately.

Performance Over Time
I have to say that over time I became more and more comfortable with the OM Mouse. The initial adjustment period for the additional buttons quickly passed, and using them now feels completely natural. Interestingly, I even ditched my DeltaHub wrist rest, which I usually rely on.
After several weeks of daily use, including long productivity sessions, the mouse has shown no signs of wear.

The sensor remains responsive, the buttons maintain their crisp feel, and the matte finish still looks fresh without fingerprints or smudges.
Overall, the OM proves itself as a durable and reliable companion for both comfort and productivity over time.

it Worth It?
Yes, it is definitely worth it. The OM Vertical Ergonomic Mouse delivers on comfort, build quality, and productivity features right out of the box.
From the natural feel in hand to the thoughtful button placement and unique LED screen, it stands out among vertical mice I’ve tried.
Whether you’re switching from a standard mouse or upgrading from another vertical option, the OM proves to be a solid investment for anyone who spends long hours at a desk.
It makes your workflow smoother, reduces strain on your wrist, and brings premium features at a very reasonable price. For me, it’s become an essential part of my daily setup.
