Opening the box showed a neat and well-organized layout. The lamp was wrapped in a protective bag and secured in a sturdy cardboard holder that extended across the entire box.
Each component had its own slot: the lamp across the top, the monitor clip in the center, the wireless controller on the right, the USB cable, and a small box for accessories.
I really liked this arrangement because it looked clean and professional while also adding to the premium feel.

Performance
Once installed, the Halo 2 immediately impressed me with the light output. The illumination is bright, even, and covers the entire desk area without creating glare on the monitor.
I spend more than eight hours a day at my desk and the difference was noticeable right away. The screen felt easier to look at and the reduced eye strain made working much more comfortable.

Of course, I do not have professional-grade tools at the moment, but even with an off-market device the readings were almost identical to the numbers written on the box.

However, after using it daily, I can say the difference is clear when compared to much more budget-friendly options.

For me, the real value comes from how much it improves comfort and productivity. Spending long hours at the desk is a lot easier on the eyes with this lamp, and that makes the investment worthwhile.
I would not call it a budget-friendly option, but if you want a high-quality lighting solution that feels professional and delivers on what it promises, the Halo 2 is worth considering.
Is It Worth It?
In my opinion, the BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2 is absolutely worth it if you are serious about improving your workspace.
It delivers on what it promises with premium quality, plenty of useful functions, and a wireless controller that makes it even more convenient to use.
Having the chance to test this one has already convinced me to start looking into more lamps in the future so I can compare and see how they measure up.
